12 Photographers, 1 Roll of 120 film

Inspired by a project raised from our Hasseblad Colleagues, we prepqared a Kiev88 Back (6x6) with a Roll of Kodak TRI-X 400. This back made its way to 12 different Photographers located in 5 different countries. It takes more than a year to send this back round the world. The results are shown below.

We had a great time, the Back and I couldn't really let it go. But now we spend more than a month together, it is nearly easter, and it is time.
That's why the picture is kind of easter-related. After taking it, we had a nice goodbye-walk on the Königsallee. What would travelling be without some sightseeing?

Just recieved the Back from Gary at Work. Telling and showing everybody the back and the journal. So stocked about this and thinking about what could I shoot with only one frame ... I shot the guy at the corner stor. He was really stocked. Had a beer with him after it closed.

My Father past away in April and his Ashes sat with my mother. When I arranged to travel to the east cost (to do the shot for this project) I called my mother to ask if I could bring my fathers ashes to his birthplace and spread the ashes in the Atlantic Acean. Everyone thought it was a wonderful and fitting idea.

A huge part of me picking up a camera was to get the attention and admiration of my father...it is somehow fitting and poetic that my shot for this project is a release for me of some kind. My shot is a connection with my father. This will be the ONLY Photo that him and I were contributing parts of.

Enjoy your Journey Dad. This will be the last thing I do to impress you.

A shot of my fiend, Lina, in a riverbank abaout 50km from where I live. I used the Pictorialist perspective to create an image that would link my inner world to that of aesthetic art.

Life is never easy and it brings us different ways to the same place, we learn from out experiences and development as individuals. We learn who and what is important to us and this is why I took this image. This Picture shows my girlfriend the person I hold dearest in the world and has been a part of my Kiev 88 adventure.

I took a picture from my best friend posing with the Kiev88 that I borrowed Rory. I think I overexposed the shot. I forgot the lightmeter set to 400ISO. I was metering for ISO 100...
